Fortune Snake Slot by PG Soft at ek999 — Lucky Snake with Max RTP 96.75%
This video slot is built around the theme of a golden snake from Chinese folklore and is one of the most talked-about games at ek999. Each spin of the reels holds special features, and the RTP is genuinely worth paying attention to.
Fortune Snake — Theme and Game Style
Fortune Snake by PG Soft is a video slot with 5 reels, 4 rows, and 1,024 payways. The visual design carries the familiar red and gold look of Chinese New Year — lanterns, gold coins, moon flowers, and a glowing golden snake at the centre. The snake is presented here as a symbol of good luck, not just decoration.
The game's sound design features traditional Chinese instrument melodies that intensify with each big win. The animations are smooth too — notably, the snake's wild symbol gives a slight vibration when it lands on the reels. The game also performs well on mobile, so playing from anywhere in Dhaka or Chattogram is not a problem.
The main highlight of this game is its snake wild mechanic — as the snake moves across the reels, every symbol it touches turns into a wild, creating the possibility of winning across multiple paylines at once.
Fortune Snake's 5-reel, 4-row layout has 1,024 payways active. The golden snake's wild mechanic sets it apart from ordinary slots.
How a Spin Works
Before starting the game you set your bet level. Tap the "Bet" button at the bottom of the screen to increase or decrease the amount. At ek999, this game has a wide bet range, so players with a smaller budget can also start without difficulty.
Pressing the spin button sets all five reels spinning at once, and when they stop you see the combination of symbols. The game uses a 1,024 payways system — meaning a win is recorded when the same symbol lands on consecutive reels from left to right, with no fixed lines to track. This creates the opportunity for several winning combinations at the same time.
Bonus round: when three or more scatter symbols land together in the game, the free spins round starts. During free spins the snake's wild mechanic becomes more active — the snake can stay on specific reels and keep producing wild symbols repeatedly. The free spins round can also retrigger if new scatters land while it is running.
Another feature of the game is the multiplier symbol. On some spins a ×2 or ×3 multiplier may land on the reels, multiplying that particular win several times over. This feature is one of the main sources of big wins.

What happens when free spins start?
The free spins round begins when three or more scatters land together. During this round the snake's wild trail is more active and the chance of multipliers being added also increases.
Which Type of Player This Game Suits
Players with a smaller budget
Because this game has a wide bet range, players who want to stake less per spin can still enjoy a long session. It is well suited for casual play.
Low Bet CasualPlayers with short sessions
Each spin completes quickly, so it is possible to play a few rounds in a half-hour break on a busy day. It feels a bit more active than the typical pace of a slot game.
Fast Spins Mobile-FriendlyPlayers who prefer medium volatility
Volatility refers to the frequency and size of wins. This game is medium volatility — meaning small wins come fairly regularly, and occasionally there is also a chance of a bigger win in the bonus round. It is a good fit for those who do not enjoy long dry spells or very sharp swings.
Medium Volatility
Setting a fixed budget before each session keeps your play under control and reduces the chance of a large loss.
Useful Tips for Playing Fortune Snake
-
Start in demo mode: Many PG Soft games at ek999 can be tried in demo mode. Getting familiar with the bonus mechanics and payways system before depositing real money helps you make better decisions in the actual game.
-
Set a separate session budget: Decide in advance the maximum amount you will use for a session. A common guideline is to keep each spin to no more than 1%–2% of your total budget — this gives you more spins and increases the chance of triggering a bonus round.
-
Stick to a stop limit: Whether you are winning or losing — stop the game when you reach a set limit. If you are ahead, taking out a portion of your winnings is a sensible move. If you are down, avoid putting in more money in the next session to try to recover the loss.
-
Avoid very long sessions: Playing for a long stretch without a break reduces your ability to make clear decisions. Taking a short break every 30–45 minutes helps you stay focused.
-
Check the paytable: Inside the game, tapping the "i" or "?" icon opens the paytable. The value of each symbol and the conditions for triggering bonuses are clearly listed there.
Common Misconceptions About Slots
Some things are commonly said about Fortune Snake and slots in general that are not actually true. Knowing these can reduce the chance of making poor decisions while playing.
"This slot hasn't paid out in a long time, so a big win must be due now"
Slot games run on a Random Number Generator (RNG). Every spin is completely independent — the result of a previous spin has no effect on the next one. The idea that a win is "owed" has no basis.
"Raising your bet after a loss helps you recover faster"
Increasing your bet after a loss (known as chasing losses) actually opens the door to even bigger losses. RTP applies over the long term, not within a single session. Playing within a set limit is the sensible approach.
"Playing at night or in the morning gives better wins"
The game's RNG does not become more generous at any particular time of day. The payout rate has no connection to the time you play.
What does RTP mean and how useful is it?
A maximum RTP of 96.75% means that theoretically, for every ৳100 wagered, an average of ৳96.75 is returned — but this is the average across billions of spins, not a guarantee for any single session. However, a higher RTP does mean the game is comparatively player-friendly over the long run.
Differences Compared to Other Slot Styles
ek999 has many types of slots. Some games run in a classic 3-reel format with only 5–10 paylines. There are also games like Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus or Sweet Bonanza that pay out on a "cluster pay" system rather than payways — meaning a win is awarded when the same symbol lands in a group.
Fortune Snake sits between the two: 1,024 payways means far more ways to win than a classic slot, but the mechanic is not as different as a cluster system. The snake's wild trail gives it a distinct identity — in many slots a wild stays fixed in one place, but here it moves and affects multiple reels at once.
High-volatility games like Hacksaw Gaming's Le Bandit or Nolimit City titles bring big wins but also long dry spells. Fortune Snake's medium volatility means the game is comparatively balanced — your balance does not run out too fast, and it does not feel too uneventful either.
